The Schleicher ASK 21 is a modern glass-reinforced plastic two-seater glider with a mid-set wing and a mass balanced T-tail. The ASK 21 is designed primarily for beginner instruction, but is also suitable for cross-country flying and aerobatic instruction.
The ASK 21 is a suggested aircraft for the Pinzgauer Spaziergang.

Versions
Version 1.0
This is the first updated version pushed to FGAddon by Thomas Polzer, Viktor Radnai and Bea Wolf. It includes livery support, new pilot models, improvements to the interior, the menu and the FDM. It was released on 3rd January 2017.
Version 2.0
In the second updated version V. Radnai and B. Wolf improved the instruments, wind sounds, systems and usability as well as the interior further. It was released on 18th February 2017.
Version 3.0
With the help of Gilberto Agostinho, this version will feature very much improved textures as well as a realistic-looking fuselage shader and various other improvements/fixes. It was released on 25th March 2017.
Version 4.0
This version contains a highly reworked fuselage/interior model and many bug fixes. It was released on 9 May 2017
Version 5.0
This version contains a new JSBSim FDM for the glider and the motorglider variant. Additional changes are an updated radio and an improved Fuel/Payload dialog. It was released on 27th August 2019.
