AI
Updated AI Traffic 2017
Throughout 2017 many members of the community have been busy developing AI Traffic, AI Aircraft, and AI Liveries, including SP-KOK and BecOzlacan (Ian). Both of these have been very active and the community has been able to:
- Add various lighting effects to AI aircraft
- Update TAROM, Wizzair, Rossiya, UTair, Jet2, Air Transat, Belavia, Qatar , TAP Portugal, Swiss, Helvetic, Austrian, HOP, AirSerbia, British Airways, LOT, Thai Airways, and Czech Airlines among others
- Add Santa Barbara, EL AL, Travel Service, Kuwait, Air Baltic, Montenegro Airlines, Loganair, Wideroe, Fly Dubai, Norwegian, and Blue Air
We look forward to seeing what the community can achieve in 2018!
Making traffic files is the perfect place for you to get your feet wet on contributing to FlightGear. There is plenty of documentation about it. You have all the existing traffic files as reference material and examples of the finished product. They are only XML format text files that contain the routes. Go for it, I'm sure the contributors that currently do a lot of this would be more than happy to verify that your work is up to standards and help you get it committed to fgdata.

Screenshots
The FlightGear project always needs screenshots, which show features that were added since the last release. These should be of good quality, especially in content and technical image properties. It is therefore recommended to use the best viable filter settings (anti-aliasing, texture sharpening, etc.). More info at Howto:Make nice screenshots.
