The Dassault/Dornier AlphaJet is a light attack jet and advanced trainer aircraft co-manufactured by Dornier of Germany and Dassault-Breguet of France. Production began in 1973 and ended in 1984. Over 400 were manufactured and it is still used by many countries today. It is powered by two SNECMA turbofans.
