Rough initial FGAddon article text

Hi Dg-505,

It looks like I have to make my corrections to the German FGAddon article faster! You are beating me to it ;) You can probably guess that I'm not a native speaker, but I live in 'schland and am using this translation as much needed practice. I also figured that it's easier to fix bad Deutsch than to write this huge thing from scratch, so that is also why I am making the translation. Note that I'm still in the process of editing the initial text so, if you weren't so fast, you'd have a lot less to correct :) I have a question though. Should we be using Sie or Du? Half of the other wiki articles use Sie (e.g. De/Neu_bei_FlightGear and De/FAQ) and the other half use Du (e.g. De/Szenerie_installieren and De/Howto:Flugzeuge_Installieren). There should be a wiki-wide standard used for this! If you are interested, something else that could use corrections is my attempt at translating the messagebox templates into Deutsch. These template translations are very much {{WIP}}.

Hi Edward,
considering you're not a native speaker, your German is quite good. You're right, I'll wait with the correction of your initial translation, thanks for the hint ;).
In my opinion we should use "Du" instead of "Sie". This is more personal and helps the reader to grapple with the article. I think, using "Sie" creates too much distance between the author and the reader of the article, but this whole thing is definitely discussible.
I'm gonna have a look on your translations on the messagebox templates.
Best regards,

Hi, referring to [1] - it might make more sense to introduce another template and simply use that, wouldn't it ? --Hooray (talk) 10:01, 5 June 2016 (EDT)

Hi Hooray,
yes, it would indeed make sense, but this is far beyond my MediaWiki skills, so someone else should do this...
