Hi, thanks for uploading comparison screen shots - but could you please also add your exact startup/run-time arguments, ideally using some kind of format that can be easily replicated, e.g. using a corresponding Fgfsrc ? Reverting/reuploading File:FIATG.91R1B upper cockpit view.jpeg

Hi,

I noticed that you've reverted and re-uploaded File:FIATG.91R1B upper cockpit view.jpeg a couple of times in the past days. Is there something not working? Some issue with the wiki? It's perfectly okay to upload new versions, but keep in mind that every version is stored on the wiki server, so please do try to limit it a little bit and don't re-upload the exact same image ;-)

Thank you for the observation, I think the problem is due to the browser cache not showing the changes. The next time I edit an image I will change the name so that this problem doesn't happen.

Ah, I see. Yes, the images are cached for up to 7 days. If the image is really different and not just an update/fix of the existing image, I'd indeed advise to upload it under a different name.

Uploading files

Hi,

Good job on adding some info about the photoscenery generator to the wiki! One small request though: can you use the upload wizard to upload future files? That guides you through the process of adding descriptions, license details etc. which is now lacking on your recent uploads (e.g. compare File:Github for photoscenary.jl.png to File:FIATG.91R1B upper cockpit view.jpeg, where the latter has a Summary and Licensing section). In fact, clicking "Upload file" in the sidebar should've brought you to this wizard, unless you've used some other method to get to the (old) upload form?

In addition, please try to use descriptive file names. File:Screenshot 20210606 212142.png, for example, will be very difficult to find ;-)

The photoscenery generator

I did some copy editing / cleanup (the article was not as bad as that may make it sound ;-P ), rearranged the introduction and added a little to it, and added some links to related content (and probably more important some links from related content). I have yet to look through the grammar though.

I also took the liberty to move it to Julia photoscenery generator as that is how I most often see it mentioned, but feel free to move it back if you want to.
