Development URLs in the new aircraft infobox template

Hi Anders! For the Short Empire/info page, which currently uses the User:Bugman/Infobox Aircraft testing template prior to updating {{infobox aircraft}}, I see that you've added:

| devel-website  = https://github.com/andgi/FlightGear-Short_Empire
| devel-repo     = {{github url|andgi|FlightGear-Short_Empire}}

These point to the same URL, and could be replaced with:

| devel-website  = {{github url|andgi|FlightGear-Short_Empire}}
| devel-repo     = {{github url|andgi|FlightGear-Short_Empire}}

But only one URL would be necessary. Would you like the option to not show the default FGAddon links for certain parameters?

I might redirect the devel-website URL to the issues tab of the GitHub repository (I'd much rather have user feedback there than hidden among the tickets for the other hundreds of aircraft of FGAddon). Even if both URLs are currently the same the two links serve different purposes. The GitHub repro template didn't appear functional yesterday (in the Zeppelin LZ 120 Nordstern infobox) - it only opened the icon, hence, I used the plain one. The template seems fine today, however. That might remove some confusion. Or we could add a dedicated devel-tracker parameter for this, and have | devel-website = None turn off the default link to FGAddon. The idea is to direct the reader to be best way to interact with the craft's development team.

I really do not see any confusion in that both URLs point to the GitHub web UI for the aircraft repository - it is both a place to leave feedback, find technical information on the implementation and the location of the development repository. Depending on your intention you'll click one icon or the other. AndersG (talk) 10:40, 29 June 2016 (EDT)
