Talk:Frequently asked questions
Anybody who monitors the various forums and mailing lists, will notice that there are really many frequently asked questions that aren't yet covered here, we should probably start browsing the forum and mailing list archives in order to determine the most prevalent issues, including suggestions for fixes.
Ultimately, it would be much better to follow the proposal discussed on the start page, that is installing a dynamic FAQ system.--FlightZilla 18:09, 17 June 2006 (EDT)
Out of date
A bit of not up-to-date? --Precise (talk) 21:26, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- Right, more than a bit out of date I'd say. I've added the {{out of date}} template to the top of the page, so it's at least clear that it's not the most up to date FAQ one could wish for. Please feel free to update (parts of) it, several people did so throughout the years, but it's difficult to keep up with all developments.

- I've tried to update all I could, or make it less prone to outdating. However I left templates where I didn't know what to do. I'm sure a lot of that is just obsolete but I'm not sure, like with all the 2d panels related parts. I think I could safely remove those... EDIT: also the ftp related questions --Bigstones (talk) 13:46, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
Engine startup
That sure is a major faq. But has it to be explained here? There's a manual for that. I confess I tried to look for a manual page to point to but the latest manual html version is broken (and published on the main site), the other one I can find is 4 years old and I'm reluctant to link that. All this, obviously, to reduce duplication.--Bigstones (talk) 14:15, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
