Take-off instructions
The Harriers thrusters on the nose, tail and wing tips can only compensate fully for angles of 10° or less pitch or roll. Any more than that and you may end up dead. Short take off is easily achieved by using 45° vector. For vertical takeoff without external payload, select 80°–85° vector and apply throttle gently. Vector angles of 90°–100° will induce reverse flight.
