Fgf5 is believed to be the main account. More than 1.5 millions of bytes of data have removed, with a significant amount of data altered, changed and polluted
Summary
Starting in April up until August, 5 accounts believed to be the same person have significantly modified the FlightGear Wiki content removing hundreds of thousands of bytes of valuable data, and modifying existing facts and information to make their appearance better. This process has been brought up to my attention by Jakkos98 on 8th of August 2026. I have brought this up on the mailing list. Between 8th and 9th of August I had an interesting interaction on FGWiki with person believed to be responsible for the data falsification and removal.
Examples of data altering
This is just one example. Other include:
- Removing valuable tips and information
- Editing facts to make them look better (yet fake) [For example "I wrote "require OpenGL 4.0", stating that OpenGL 2.0 is required would make the emulator{simulator} seem outdated" - Fgf5]
- Removing lists of authors
- Removing information important for developers
- Altering the data making the wiki untrustworthy
- Trying to hide data which didn't fit the user
- Modifying the reality
Links between accounts and AI.
Fgf5' and Servo' wiki User page share the exact same style of AI generated images. We can conclude that Servo is an account linked to the user Fgf5
From "Servo" User page:
For how I clear old content on this wiki, see User:Celesta/removing old contents. For why I do this, see User:Servo/AI Agent.Which links Celesta to Fgf5 and Servo
It is impossible to find a direct proof that AirplaneMode and Sierra are linked to the same person as Celesta, Servo and Fgf5, but based on the type of edits which are exactly the same, and these accounts editing the same pages/talk pages, I am confident that they also belong to the same person.
Servo/AI Agent
Step 1: Revive the wiki (and make it easier for common AIs like ChatGPT and Gemini to search)
This step is nearly complete.
Step 2: export the wiki dump
This step has been done. See https://gitlab.com/flyer02/flightgear-wiki-backup/-/tree/main for the wiki dump.
Step 3: feed the dump to an AI agent
This will enable AI-assisted development for FlightGear.
Other efforts
There is a set of skills for FlightGear. Now we can finally see the reason behind all this. All the changes made to the wiki are not because data is outdated, or irrelevant, but because it needs to be easier for AI to crawl through the data. User:Celesta
I've finished removing many old Wiki contents that make it feel outdated/legacy for FlightGear.
See here for examples of the removal. To sum up: The changes made are so that it is better for LLMs, not humans.
My take on that: This person in my opinion is responsible for FG Wiki outages and DoS. The exports and bulk edits are too heavy for API and server which results in the denial of service. AI Crawlers have on many occasions caused FGWiki DoS, and this person here is doing his best to make AI Crawlers go through wiki with more ease. Usage of PHP Scripts to dump the wiki on regular basis is a reason of Denial of Service.
While on mailing lists developers shared ideas how to prevent AI Crawlers from DoS-ing FGWiki, this person right here is literally inviting the massive flood of third party data crawlers.
"Sierra" wrote on my talk page:
I sincerely apologize for posting invitation links, but I believe we are now in the AI era, and integrating AI usage is necessary. If FG doesn't adopt AI, it will inevitably be overtaken by other open-source flight simulators.I think there is nothing more to add from me. Likely you made your conclusions by now.
Hipocrisy
This is not how it should be done. You remove valuable information while showing you completely don't understand FG things. SP-NTX (talk) 23:29, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
I didn't edit the page automaticlly; the editing was done manually. I went through the page and revised something that was outdated as I came across it. Celesta (talk) 23:42, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
I explicitly told you or one of your accounts to use only one account to make it easier to revert the damage before, why don't you do it?; Also if you did it by hand (removed 200 000 bytes of data from wiki) which was removal of valuable data you are either stupid or automated it and simply lying SP-NTX (talk) 23:45, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
Show your proof, (the contribution log), please. The changes were actually manual. Celesta (talk)
No no I don't need to, in the comment before I said that you either did it automatically or you are stupid, up to you to choose, there is no third option I know SP-NTX (talk) 23:51, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
I also have a backup and a fork of the wiki, so I can set up a new FG wiki on my own. Celesta (talk) 00:14, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
yeah go ahead pay for the hosting yourself and ddos your own fgwiki with your crawlers SP-NTX (talk) 00:16, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Celesta is claiming that edits were done manually. Seems unlikely but I respect that. That, as I stated above, simply means that that person is just stupid.
The person responsible for this also claimed he couldn't have used scripts and all was done manually.
You know, under pressure people usually crack. Here is the best example I have seen in a long time.

SP-NTX v. Sierra+Celesta, 9th of August 2026.
"Howto:Create new landmark models"
I have noticed that the article talking about AI generation of scenery objects has been an advertisement of an AI 3D Model generation platform. Here is the content of the article https://wiki.flightgear.org/w/index.php?title=Howto:Create_new_landmark_models_with_AI_tools&oldid=146867
Seeing that I decided to remove the mention of AI tools and to correct the wrong information. About an hour later the article has been modified back to the previous version by "Sierra", which again looked like an advertisement of an AI Model generation platform. Over the span of next hours the article has been reverted back to the AI' one back, and in the end, I managed to correct it to remove any 3rd party AI platforms links and corrected it so people won't be willing to upload copyrighted textures and models to scenery db. The interaction can be seen here https://wiki.flightgear.org/w/index.php?title=Howto:Create_new_landmark_models_with_AI_tools&action=history, and I strongly encourage you to take a look at it.
"User talk:SP-NTX"
After the modifications I made to the article mentioned before, the user responsible for the AI advertisement, "Sierra", left a message on my talk page.
I sincerely apologize for posting invitation links, but I believe we are now in the AI era, and integrating AI usage is necessary. If FG doesn't adopt AI, it will inevitably be overtaken by other open-source flight simulators.
Actually, the page Howto:Create new landmark models is created by me.I have to say that I laughed a lot reading the first statement, but the second one is even better. So now if I want to advertise my 3rd party platform I can just make a page and say it's /mine/? I could have responded in only one way possible, well, sorry for that.
Ask me if I give a f*** SP-NTX (talk) 22:51, 8 August 2026 (UTC)After that, the account "Sierra" deleted both his and mine message from mine Talk page, which I find concerning to say the least. I quickly reverted the deletion back to keep it there, but the user quickly removed it again! I reverted it back and added something from me:
you posted it on a public website on my own discussion page and I will do whatever I want with it SP-NTX (talk) 22:56, 8 August 2026 (UTC)To sum the dispute up, here is the change log of my Talk page:
