The PHI is absolutely not the first Doppler nav system. I can't say for sure which can claim "first", but the British Green Satin system was identical to PHI and was specified in 1949 and being produced in 1953. It was used on the V-bombers and the Canberra. It was in squadron use years before the prototype G91 flew. Maury Markowitz (talk) 17:38, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
