The official download page is http://www.flightgear.org/Downloads/. Source code is our primary form of distribution, but precompiled binaries are available for Windows and SGI IRIX.

Flight Gear can be installed directly from the Synaptic Package Manager.
FlightGear puede ser instalado directamente desde el Gestor de Paquetes Synaptic.
Open Synaptic Package Manager, search for Flight Gear and follow instructions. For Ubuntu 7.10 you will be able to install Flight Gear 9.10  
Abrir el Gestor de Paquetes Synaptic, buscar FlightGear y seguir las instrucciones. Para Ubuntu 7.10 tendrás la capacidad de instalar Flight Gear 9.10

First install WINE from Synaptic, then run the FGSetup installer by right clicking and selecting open in WINE. Just follow instructions. Everything seems to work OK and is quite fast except for the first startup screen where the aircraft list is not visible. For information on WINE see http://www.winehq.org/
Primero instala WINE desde Synaptic, luego ejecuta el instalador FGSetup con un click en el botón derecho y selecionando abrir con WINE. Ya simplemente sigue las instrucciones. Todo parece ir bien y es bastante rápido excepto para el primer arranque de pantalla donde la lista de aeronaves no esta visible. Para información de WINE mira en http://www.winehq.org/

The FTP server uses standard anonymous login procedures. Login with the username "anonymous" and use your email address as the password. Most FTP clients and web browsers will do this automatically for you.
El servidor FTP usa procedimientos estandar de login anonimo. Identificandose con el nombre de usuario "anonymous" y usa tu dirección de correo electronico como palabra de paso. La mayoria de los clientes FTP y navegadores de red hacen esto automáticamnete por ti.
