The Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane is an American twin-engine heavy-lift helicopter. It is the civil version of the United States Army's CH-54 Tarhe. The S-64 Aircrane is the current production version, manufactured by the Erickson Air-Crane company.

There is a version of the Aircrane with significant updates by Wlbragg, for the Compositor rendering framework in this repository. It's a good reference for implementing new Compositor lights. A lot of the work on the branch has already been merged into the version on FGAddon/trunk which can be downloaded through the launcher on the next branch of FlightGear and nightly builds of the next branch. (Feb 2021). See the development thread for details.

The Cargo Towing Addon is compatible with the Aircrane (June 2020).
