Review
A new and unfamiliar aircraft, it was interesting to review the Katana based on its reputation in the civil aviation market.
The model has a fairly well detailed interior and exterior. In fact the exterior is smooth and realistic in its appearance. The shaded and reflective windshield is a nice feature. Visibility is very good all round. Take off is straightforward and climb is good. I was surprised to see 140 kt on the dial during level flight, which makes it a good cross country machine. Cross checking with specifications confirmed a cruise speed of 138 kt. Handling was direct, and the aircraft was more stable than expected in flight.
