Custom template?

based on a discussion with bugman on the forum, it would seem like a good idea to introduce custom topic branches for each element, so that people familiar with git can more easily track progress and check out working boilerplate code. In other words, it would make sense to introduce a template, analogous to the Canvas Snippet template, to indicate the status/progress of a snippet, maybe in conjunction with a name/description, date of last update, changelog, showstopper/issue, list of links (tutorials, examples) and maybe an optional screen shot - and ... what else, any thoughts ?--Hooray (talk) 14:16, 10 November 2015 (EST)
