=== Release Notes for the Team Clone  ===
=== Current Status of development on the team clone: fg-download-and-compile-fgmeta.git ===
The team clone has been rebuilt as of 1:15 AM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

If you have previously cloned the team clone, you should delete your clone and get a new one:
Team clone master branch: 1.9.12 - needs additional testing by more users
Team clone next does not contain anything that will be released
Team clone 1.9.13 branch soon to be deleted and replaced with a "feature branch": feature_logging
Team clone 1.9.14 branch soon to be deleted and replaced with a "feature branch": feature_directories

git clone git://gitorious.org/+fg-download-and-compile/fg/fg-download-and-compile-fgmeta.git
=== Overview ===

The branches on the clone will reflect what is intended to go to specific branches on the main fgmeta repository. Advance work on new features will be done on a new branch:  script_prototype
The download_and_compile.sh script was originally developed as an easy way to get the latest flightgear features in the hands of non-developers and to entice new developers to the project with an easy way to get a workable build environment in place.

Francesco Brisa is the official maintainer of the script and has the final approval on changes.
Changes in progress, but feel free to jump in. [[User:Callahanp|Callahanp]] ([[User talk:Callahanp|talk]]) 14:24, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

master will be a script that is tested and approved (currently 1.9.11)
=== Older comments and noise to be re-organized into the sections above ===

next will be a script tested but not yet approved. (proposed as 1.9.12)
The team clone has been rebuilt as of 1:15 AM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

download_and_compile.release_notes will be a running log of the changes in the script.

The team clone can be found at https://www.gitorious.org/+fg-download-and-compile/fg/fg-download-and-compile-fgmeta

The rest of the page describes the team clone up to the point where I make the change described above.  I'll edit this later

The version on the next branch on the team clone is based on version 1.9.11 which is currently on the next branch in the main fgmeta repository.  The master branch in the main repository is obsolete.

This version contains numerous changes.  There are new options and support for a more efficient directory structure to support multiple variant builds using a single copy of the various sources.
