El aterrizaje perfecto se logra llevando hasta cero tu altitud, la velocidad y el ratio de descenso al mismo tiempo (gentilmente). Sin embargo,este aterrizaje es extremadamente complicado. La mayoria de los pilotos realizan la estabilizacion mas o menos cerca del suelo y luego descienden lentamente hasta posarse. Aterrizar con velocidad de avance es más fácil, pero debes asegurarte de no aterrizar con  ningún componente lateral(de costado) para evitar volcar.
