Normally in mid-November a group of FlightGear enthusiasts participate in FSWeekend in Aviodrome at the Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands. Over the years this has been a focal point for both finishing existing development/releases and a catalyst for new ideas in FlightGear, as well as an opportunity for FlightGear enthusiasts to share a beer. This year the Flight Simulator Weekend has been re-scheduled to March 16/17 2024.
To keep the spirit alive and repeat the successful execution of the Virtual FSweekend Hackathon 2020 and Virtual FSweekend Hackathon 2021, we are planning to hold another Virtual FSweekend Hackathon on the weekend of {10/11/12} November {2023} (in {{days from now|{2023}|11|10}}).
