Splitting up the examples based on placement
I think it would be beneficial to split the #Templates manually added to pages section (perm) into subsections based on whether they are supposed to be placed only on top of articles, on top of articles or sections, only on top of sections, or finally anywhere in the article.
Two of the main reasons to why I think this would be a good idea, is that 1) it would be easier to see where the template styles would perhaps need harmonization, and 2) It could help the user figure out what template is needed for a purpose.

- I think this would be very useful. This information needs to be characterised, grouped, and subdivided. Maybe into different subsections (for the TOC) each with their own table, terminating in a 'Miscellaneous' section for the leftovers. For example I see 'Stubs' and 'Article mergers, splits, and deletions' as useful subsections. I'm sure you'd have a better idea of the categorisations here, Johan! This would make it much easier to use as a reference when writing articles.
