FlightGear Live CD

FlightGear Live or FG Live CD is a bootable live system on CD (or any bootable medium) that boots into Linux with a ready to run FlightGear setup. Multiple distributions have been created over the years to incorporate recent FlightGear packages as well as improvements in the LiveCD OS packaging. FlightGear LiveCDs are listed below, starting with the most recent versions.

LiveCDs

• 2012-2014: ALT Linux FlightGear LiveCDs (hopefully joins Regular builds upon maturing)
  • 2.6.0 to 3.0.0 as of April 2014 (3.0.0 boots into Tu-154 by default, icewm+fgrun/fgo in the earlier ones)
  • x86_64 only since 3.0.0-rc3, i586 available on request; UEFI is supported
  • tested on Intel, NVIDIA (±Optimus), AMD GPUs whenever possible; joystick drivers included
  • feedback on these images is much welcome!
