The Diamond DA40 is a modern low-wing single-engine piston aircraft. Seating 4 people and available in a VFR or an IFR variant, it is mostly used for training and personal flights. The 'DA40 NG', as modelled here, is an updated variant featuring an Austro Engines AE300 diesel engine and winglets to reduce the wing span with Garmin G1000 avionics.
Flying the DA40
The flight manual is available from Diamond Aircraft and is highly suggested to be read before flight.
