Aeropuerto Internacional Simon Bolivar (SVMI) is an international airport in Venezuela, just north of Caracas. It has two runways, 10-28 and 09-27, with 10-28 being used for the majority of international flights, due to its length.
It has seen some developement with legoboyvdlp having done an 8.50 layout and run it through another user's TerraGear. Models are included. Unfortunately, the models will not be in TerraSync, due to a necessary redoing of the UV-mapping. The scenery can be downloaded from [www.github.com/legoboyvdlp/SVMI-fg-CustomScenery]!
There is a VOR on-site, called MIQ on frequency 114.8. There is also an ILS called IMIQ on runway 10, on frequency 110.1, and an NDB on 292. There are several waypoints around MIQ, listed clockwise from 9 clock:
, as well as a VOR called CBC, which is linked to a waypoint near Valle de la Pascua Airport.
