TransGear Airways (TGA) was contrary to the name a flying club. It consisted of a group of people from the FlightGear community, gathering once a month.

At coordinated times, each pilot would depart from his/her respective home base on the "spokes" of TransGear's airway network, and convene together at its "hub", before exchanging passengers and flying back to their home base.

While realism was one of the aims of the gatherings, everyone was welcome, as long as one was trying to follow more or less realistic procedures.

History

TransGear Airways was established in July 2009 by MB-Terp.

Events was held during the coming two years. It seems the last event may have been in September 2011. [1] This is a link to the FlightGear forum. [2] This is a link to the FlightGear forum.
