The Hughes XF-11 was an experimental reconnaissance aircraft by Hughes aircraft. A crash in 1946 nearly killed the test pilot Howard Hughes. [1] This 1946 version had 2 counter-rotating props powered by 2 piston engines, which is the FG version.
