The '''Aero L-39 Albatros''' is a high-performance jet trainer [[aircraft]] developed in Czechoslovakia, and was the first turbofan-powered trainer produced. Production began in 1971 and ended in 1999, and over 2800 L-39's are still in use today, some in private hands.
