Hi fellow wiki editors!

To help newly registered users get more familiar with the wiki (and maybe older users too) there is now a {{Welcome to the wiki}} template. Have a look at it and feel free to add it to new users discussion pages (and perhaps your own).

I have tried to keep the template short, but meaningful. /Johan G

GUI style editor ?

given the current state of this, it would not be that much work to turn this into an interactive style editor GUI, possibly even using a wizard. Basically, it could work like the Aircraft Generation Wizard in terms of pages with questions that are interactively asked/answered and which affect what is shown/done next.

For example:

  • First Page
  1. Select edit an existing style/create a new style
  • Next Page
  • Select/define switches
    • display switches: center, off-center, range etc
    • MapStructure layers: toogle_vor, toogle_ndb etc
  • Next Page
    • Select/define artwork
    • SVG files, raster images
    • Next Page
  • Customize styling per element
