GUI style editor ?
given the current state of this, it would not be that much work to turn this into an interactive style editor GUI, possibly even using a wizard. Basically, it could work like the Aircraft Generation Wizard in terms of pages with questions that are interactively asked/answered and which affect what is shown/done next.
For example:
- First Page
- Select edit an existing style/create a new style
- Next Page
- Select/define switches
- display switches: center, off-center, range etc
- MapStructure layers: toogle_vor, toogle_ndb etc
- Next Page
- Select/define artwork
- SVG files, raster images
- Next Page
- Customize styling per element
