::It is nice to read. Your terminal of dresden was my first template and inspiration. For modelling I use sketchup (currently Version 8), because I knew this tool a little bit. What I found good was the import of google maps to sketchup. You can add a location/region. So you can draw the base geometry of a building. I have read a lot about flightgear 3D modelling at the forum and wiki. I learned a lot from models of the database too. 3 years later i can say: I never stop learning :-) For xml editing I use bluefish, mostly I paste and copy my code snippets. I don't fly online very often and I don't have a fix callsign. You are welcome in the flightgear forum (http://forum.flightgear.org/)! We can communicate via PM or E-Mail. There are a lot of helpers. josh is my name at this forum.

Hallo Fgjosh, (if you cannot read the following lines in German, please let me know.)
ich denke, wenn ich 10 Jahre in Dresden gelebt habe und Du in Dresden lebst, können wir auch deutsch schreiben?! Ich gucke immer wieder mal in das Flightgear-Projekt, insbesondere wenn mich andere Flugsimulatoren nerven. Mich hat es jetzt nach Bayern verschlagen. Seit Juli arbeite ich an meiner Segelfluglizenz - ich stehe kurz vor der B-Prüfung. Jetzt ist aber erst einmal Theorie angesagt. Zeit zu modellieren, z.B. unseren Flugplatz. Die Lage ist malerisch vor der Bergkette der Oberbayrischen Voralpen im Inntal.

Ich würde gerne mal ein paar Worte mit Dir wechseln, lernen.
Vor allem Terragear macht mir Sorgen - mit Taxidraw habe ich schon einmal gearbeitet, aber EDWP scheint nicht aufgenommen worden zu sein.
Du merkst, ich habe viele Fragen, ich werde aber auch mal in das Forum schauen.
