Template:Virtual Airline Cresder Nixrof Airways used to be one of FlightGear's largest virtual airlines (along with Merlion Virtual Airlines). It was founded on November 19th, 2010. It carried the slogan "Enjoy the Sky!". In early 2011, Cresder Nixrof Airways (often referred to as CNA), was announced to the FlightGear community and started growing. It is a relatively new, but fast growing airline. With currently over 60 members, CNA flies across the virtual globe with a fleet containing more than 20 different types of planes.
History
The Virtual Airline was found after the CEO of United Free World Virtual Airlines and the administrator of Sky Legends Virtual Airline agreed to merge and form a new Virtual Airline, on November 19th 2010, The Virtual Airline opened it's website, agreed upon the main system, the jobs and a main fleet to use until the opening, the CEO ( Xsaint ) then agreed to have 1 Administrator and 6 Directors, 1 director for each continent, responsible for operations there, then, Moda ( Sky Legends Virtual Airlines administrator ) was announced as the director of Africa and the Middle East sector.
The Growth
In December 2010, Oscar Bouwmans was announced as CNA's Europe director, The Virtual Airline began growing notably in the beginning of January, then, the Virtual Airline began making serious desicions and announced the official livery and the fleet.
The Slogan
CNA's slogan used to be " No better way to fly! ", but due to that Lufthansa's slogan " There's no better way to fly " is copyrighted, the slogan had been changed, a poll was made, there were choices like " Fly high! " - " Fly free...fly CNA! ", but eventually the one that won was " Enjoy the sky! ", announced officially in 11th May 2011.
The Grand opening
In March 2011, an event was hosted to introduce CNA to the public, the event was hosted along with Virtual Star Alliance organization, the event included a pro ATC, flights between airports and a small aerobatics show in the beginning, CNA members were involved in that show like Moda, Redneck and Patrick. The event also involved a landing of one of the members with the aircraft having an engine failure and a partial hydraulics failure.
The Ranks system
CNA's fleet was rank based, every aircraft in the fleet needed a specific rank, but early in 2011, when the system has been changed, the ranks system has been removed, enabling all CNA members to fly any aircraft included in the Virtual Airline's fleet.
The Black box
In May 8, 2011, the " CNA Blacbox " system has been introduced to the Virtual Airline's members, this system enables the Virtual Pilots to get a log file which tracks important information necessary for validating flights, the Blackbox was introduced and added into some aircrafts in the CNA fleet, then, the aircraft was available to download in the CNA's website, including the livery, and the blackbox.
The forum
In May 12, 2011, the CNA's forum was introduced to discuss important CNA matters, Moda was announced to be responsible for the forum.CNA forum
Internal mail
In May 30, 2011, the Internal mail system was introduced to CNA, which enabled the members to send and recieve emails by their CNA callsign via the CNA's website.
The Flight school
In June 2011, the flight school was introduced, which included some courses for the virtual airline's members, some resources like charts, and some exams for the members.
Routes and Airports
CNA has one hub in each airport, the main CNA hub that it operates from is OLBA - Beirut Rafic Hariri airport, Lebanon, which is also the hub for the Middle Eastern sector, as well as Africa. Middle East and Africa's hub: OLBA - Beruit Rafic Hariri Airport, Lebanon. Asia's Hub: WMKK - Sepang Airport, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Europe's Hub: EGKK - London Gatwick Airport, The United Kingdom. Australia's Hub: YSSY - Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport, Australia. North America's hub: KSTL - Lambert-St. Louis Airport, The United States. South America's hub: SBGR - São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, Brazil. From each hub, CNA flies at least 10 local flights, as well as transcontinental flights to the hubs of other airports.
End of Cresdernixrof
From January 2012, CNA was announced officially defunct due to some inner staff problems and the walk away of Head DIrector, XSaint. Since end January the website is offline...
