To help newly registered users get more familiar with the wiki (and maybe older users too) there is now a {{Welcome to the wiki}} template. Have a look at it and feel free to add it to new users discussion pages (and perhaps your own).

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four radial piston engine aircraft that first flew in 1935, and went on to serve as a bomber in the 1940s. Some survive flying condition into the 21st century as flying museum aircraft.
