Goal

This template can be used to mark dead external links.

Usage

{{dead link|YYYY-MM}}

Where the optional YYYY-MM parameter would indicate to other editors how long the link has known to be dead.

While the month currently is not rendered or used in any other way, it might be helpful in the future
