Pitot tube related US military specifications, probably off topic

I did not see it fitting to add these to the page itself, and it may be too off topic even here, but here they are:

Pitot heater

Is there a possibility to simulate/get the effect of icing? And of course, the effect of the pitot-heater?--Katzmárek (talk) 11:25, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

If not else it should be possible to simulate using Nasal. Please also ask at the aircraft system development subforum, as you will more likely get answers there.

Oh yes, I think there is no problem to simulate this from outside. But I thought it should be somehow a property of the pitot-tube - like the <stall-deg> or so... Thank you!--Katzmárek (talk) 08:24, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
