I am aware and I understand the role of the instruments. Yet, I also understand the human supervision continue to be needed. Withal it is expected from pilots to have the competence to keep the plane flying inside safe limits, regardless flight safety being ruled by instrumental or by visual procedures.
Instruments helps to build safety awareness, but if safety conditions are exceeded, bringing the “machine” back inside the safe limits is up to the pilot and demand an educated perception and a trained practice.

In “Real Life” this learning and training is life threatening and this logically explain its limitations. Your CFI will include a few lessons about “how to recover from a slow stall speed” and will set up some practice from, let us say, a safe altitude.
Other more hazardous situations might arose and also demand training for proper addressing. This where simulators come very in hand.

The Why of LILO-LOWI-Adrenaline in FG stands with the need, and the fun, to test and train, extreme situations and recover from them.
LILO-LOWI-Adrenaline is not a race against “other pilots” nor against time. It is a race against yourself!

Debutant and advanced vpilots will find in it a possibility to improve their flying practice, and certainly correct some errors.''
