Hi,

thanks for contributing to the upcoming newsletter! Please note that the newsletter is only "published" at the end of the month though. Therefore, promoting an event that will have passed by then makes little sense. You'll either have to plan more in advance and place the announcement in the newsletter the month before the event, or write a wrapup on what the event was like when it has passed ;-)

Flooded airports

According to the January 2015 newsletter, you requested that this channel be used to report flooded airports; so here is one: SOCA (Cayenne), which was flooded in jungle today; so much so that it is impossible to take off as the patch of jungle over the runway stops the aeroplane in its tracks. I can send a screenshot on request but not before next week.

Hi there, unfortunately I am unable ATM to do it, but it will defenitely be done by June. Also, I may even re do TNCM and other "nice" ones that are flooded if I can get TG working. Regards, legoboyvdlp (on vaction)

Hey Circum, so just to let you know, a new version of scenery is in the works and the developers are apparently right now in the process of generating the entire world- a lengthy process! The latest spam

Thanks for marking up the spam pages for deletion.

Next time you delete spam from a page, could you also remove the offending text from the edit summary, as it will be in the article history. This time it was not a problem, as the entire pages now are deleted, but you may come across spam within more regular articles now and then.

You could also possibly have used {{delete-sp}} instead of {{delete}}, though it is not much of a difference, yet.

Traducciones

Hola ¿qué tal? He visto que contribuyes al wiki de FG, yo también quería hacer lo mismo, empezando por traducir algunas páginas importantes o de interés para los usuarios que visitan el wiki. Puedo traducir al español pero como que otros ya habían avanzado un poco pues me centraré primero en traducciones de otro idioma que conozco, catalán. De todas formas intentaré ayudar también en español o si necesitas algo avisame. El wiki de FG contiene una pequeña comunidad de usuarios pero no necesita tanto mantenimiento o hay menos tareas que en Wikipedia. Bugman nos ha citado algunas tareas; vease aqui.
