Could you check this old ATC related article?

Ciao, I've found Howto:Be a Real ATC Controller among the Special:LonelyPages. It is abandoned since 2011 and I would propose it for deletion, but as you're working with the ATC articles I'd like to have your confirmation that the information it contains is already somewhere else.

Hi, the information in the article you linked is already in the ATC Tutorial and ATC phraseology pages. Feel free to delete Howto:Be a Real ATC Controller. Elgaton (talk) 13:48, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Tick icon Done, sort of Howto:Be a Real ATC Controller is now a redirect to ATC Tutorial (diff]). Did not delete it as there might be links to it on the forum.

Regarding Downloading fgdata using bittorrent

I don't know the answer to your specific question.

I started it but others contributed any working code. Other contributors worked out the mechanics.

If you're interested, Downloading fgdata using bittorrent could use some attention. I don't know if the page is up to date or not. Most of the discussion is likely out of date with the recent changes to fgdata. Before going too far, ask others if bandwidth is viewed as a problem and if so do they see any value in the bittorrent approach. You may want ask about this on the flightgear-dev mailing list.

Since the 27'th, I've had a chance to review the page in more detail. I've made significant edits and explained my thoughts on where things stand. Let me know what you think, and correct any errors of fact you can find.

greasyfork updates (instant-cquotes)

Referring to [1], thank you very much for handling this - however, it seems that you have begun making minor additions, too (e.g. the name:it addition) - may I suggest, you also add those to the wiki ? Otherwise, we are working with different versions of the script - i.e. the next time I am updating the script, your changes would get lost. I realize, this is only a minor addition, but I think it would be better to directly add any changes to the wiki - at least until a real SCM/repository is used.

BTW: The script now contains some recent changes to make it easier for you to see if everything is working as expected, i.e. there's a GreaseMonkey menu that you can use to run a few self-checks:

In its current form, the dialog will look like this this:

The debugger/console (firefox developer tools) show additional information when the dialog is invoked, which includes a simple quote-rewrite engine to transform quotes into 3rd person speech (it's using one of your recent CrashRpt related postings as a test).

Thanks for your update - I did, in fact, add the name:it addition to the wiki after updating the script (diff). While uploading the new version, I also added an Italian description, and GreasyFork complained, stating I had to add a localized name as well - hence my edit. -- ElGaton (talk to me) 15:50, 6 May 2016 (EDT)

Sorry, you are of course absolutely correct - I missed that completely...--Hooray (talk) 15:56, 6 May 2016 (EDT)
