VATSIM IN FLIGHTGEAR:

A) DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL
1) Download and install Squawkgear 2) Download and install Squawkbox 3) Download and install AVC
B) CONFIGURE
CONFIGURE SQUAWKGEAR:
- Update Server List and IP
CONFIGURE SQUAWKBOX:
- Update Server List and IP
- Fill in VATSIM Connection details
- Fill in Callsign and send FP
CONFIGURE AVC:
- Audio Setup
- VATSIM Connection details
- Authentication Server (connect to "EUROPE-CE")
- Select Room ("rw.liveatc.net")
CONFIGURE FLIGHTGEAR:
- menubar.xml
- Protocol files (Copy "squawk.xml" from SquawkGear into )
- Dialog files (Copy "sq_comm.xml" from SquawkGear into )
- I/O Options:
From FGRun - Advanced - Input/Ouput (1) Protocol: generic Medium: socket Direction: out Hz: 1 Hostname: "your IP address" Port: 1863 TCP button Generic: squawk
(2) Protocol: telnet Medium: socket Direction: in Hostname: your IP address Port: 5900 TCP button
C) RUN
SQUAWKGEAR + SQUAWKBOX + FG + AVC
-- Type .rw a/on in sb647: .rw a/on (That should do auto setting for AVC;didn't work for me)
