With the UFO you can place 3D objects in the FlightGear scenery (see Placing 3D Objects with the UFO). The UFO is not shown to other users over the MP network.

- Exported data are written to:
- Unix: ~/.fgfs/ufo-model-export.xml for the model and ~/.fgfs/ufo-flightplan-export.xml for the flightplan
- Microsoft Windows: %APPDATA%\flightgear.org\ufo-model-export.xml
- Mac: /Users/(username)/.fgfs/Export/ufo-model-export.xml
- This is a hidden directory. To enable viewing of the xml file from the Finder application:
- 1. Choose "Go" from the Finder menu
- 2. Choose "Go to Folder..."
