: That's a good idea.  I thought of that a number of years ago, but decided against it as there are were not many pages using this template.  There were only the labels to internally translate as well, whereas {{tl|infobox aircraft}} is more specific and a lot of the data is internally translated.  But it's worth changing.  I'll see if I can quickly format something here.

Categorization and multiple programming languages

The categorization per programming language currently breaks if more than one language is used.

Maybe functionality from {{infobox aircraft}} related to authors, configurations etc. could be borrowed and applied here too.

That's a good idea. I thought of that a number of years ago, but decided against it as there are were not many pages using this template.
