Aug 17th, 2016: Due to some Jenkins issues, some pending code changes from James and the this-time-of-the-year-again time constraints it will take probably until early September before we can release. This will hopefully give us the time to fix some of the recently discovered issues. ^[1]

May 17, 2016: FlightGear 2016.2 "Barcelona" is released.
April 8, 2016: The FlightGear Project turns 20 years old (original proposal)!
February 17, 2016: FlightGear 2016.1 "San Francisco" is released.
November 2015: FlightGear is the SourceForge Community Choice Project of the Month.
April 15, 2015: FlightGear completes the move from Gitorious to SourceForge.
