To help newly registered users get more familiar with the wiki (and maybe older users too) there is now a {{Welcome to the wiki}} template. Have a look at it and feel free to add it to new users discussion pages (and perhaps your own).

Template for formating external links to mapping websites. Used by {{location/layout}}.
Input Parameters:

  1. {{{1}}} - name of external website: GoogleMap (aka GM), GoogleEarth (aka GE), Proximityrama (aka PR), OpenStreetMap (aka OSM)etc.
  2. {{{2}}} - name of the globe: earth, mars, moon
  3. {{{3}}} - latitude
  4. {{{4}}} - longitude
  5. {{{5}}} - language code: en, pl, de, etc.
  6. {{{6}}} - Link text
