The following template description is not displayed when the template is inserted in an article.
Goal
For use only when there will not possibly be any controversies, for example on blank pages, pages containing only spam or sub-pages to your own user page. In other cases use the {{delete}} template.
This template will automatically add Category:Candidates for speedy deletion to the page.
Usage
To nominate a page for speedy deletion add the template to the top of a page and in the summary field below the text edit box mention adding the template and the reasons for doing so.

- nocat
- Optional parameter that if true will suppress automatic categorisation. Useful for demonstrative purposes.
