Template:DeQuote

Note  In its current form, this section/article is largely based on quotes collected from various related discussions/channels (devel list, forum etc). Wiki users and other contributors are encouraged to help rewrite/edit contents accordingly to help get rid of unnecessary quoting (i.e. while the wiki is not intended to be a collection of quotes, quotes are sometimes the best/easiest way to bootstrap new articles).

The following template description is not displayed when the template is inserted in an article.

Goal

This template can be used to mark articles or sections that are largely based on quotes.

Adding this template to a page in the Howto or main article namespace will automatically add Category:Articles containing extensive quoting to that page.

Usage

Add this to the top of the article or section
