It isn't obvious from the links: Where would I find information on how aircraft dynamics are modeled in Fligtgear? This must somehow be represented in each aircraft's representation. BenFrantzDale 16:52, 25 June 2007 (EDT)

I think it would be better if this method (in fact the whole <range> animation) would be not as "visible" as it is now. The drawbacks from using it far outweigh any potential benefit.
It would be better if it was mentioned only in passing in the animation types description, and left at that, without any other suggestion for its usage.
That, and now we have the improved <usage>interior</usage> support that solves the problem in a much more elegant way.
