Hi,

an article like this is certainly a very nice thing to have! Actually, I believe we already have one at Howto:Make an aircraft. Wouldn't it be wiser and more efficient to see if you can improve that one rather than starting another one from scratch? It can certainly use some tender love and care (especially the intro has grown way too big), so please feel free to do so.
