Development status/Issues/Todo

Outside:

  • the plane has got 2 versions:
    • Supermarine Spitfire - can't take off on carriers
    • Supermarine Seafire - can take off on carriers

Inside:

  • cockpit is fully 3D
  • all buttons are clickable
  • 3D pilot visible

Help

Starting engine

  • Switch magnetos on (press { and } ).
  • Set throttle to 1/3 (press PgUp).
  • Press the Primer Pump button (press I ).
  • Press the Starter (press s).

(There is a tutorial in-game for starting engine).

Takeoff from carrier

  • Start the engine
  • Engage catapult (press L)
  • Set throttle to full! NO BRAKE!
  • Activate the catapult (press C)

Landing on carrier

  • Lower your hook (press O)(It cannot be retracted once lowered
  • Set throttle to 1/4th (press PgUp or Num9)
  • Open gear (press G )
  • Set flaps to full(press ])
  • Fly straight to the back of the carrier
  • Try to catch a wire with the hook
