The rotor folding is quite simple and works best when the rotors are nearly at the correct position. There are no interlocks so it is possible to starting folding whilst the blades are still rotating. To align correctly, use the rotor brake (press and hold {{key press|n}} to increase braking). The 7th main rotor blade is marked with a "V" letter which should be pointing out to the tailboom.

The Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion is the largest and heaviest helicopter in the United States military. It was developed from the CH-53 Sea Stallion, mainly by adding a third engine, adding a seventh blade to the main rotor and canting the tail rotor 20 degrees. It was built by Sikorsky Aircraft for the United States Marine Corps.

Rotor folding
