Is Google Earth usable to check coordinates of objects ?

Note that you should not use Google Earth to determine the correct position due to licensing problems.

Note that you should be careful about using Google Earth, due to restrictions in their license that might prevent submitting your work to the FG database. See here and here. (Just using coordinates should be okay, because coordinates of real-world objects are not copyrightable, but be careful of other content.)
