Why was this deleted?

why was this deleted ? IIRC, I used two "entry points" for troubleshooting 1) crashes and 2) extreme lag - it seems deleting this one, broke quite a few links on the forum? --Hooray (talk) 09:42, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi Hooray, when I merged the troubleshooting pages (I think there were 3 talking about performance, saying all more or less the same things) I temporarily kept the "no more used" ones as redirects, then updated all the wikilinks and when possible marked for deletion those redirects, without considering links from outside. I think 3 or 4 are gone, I'll restore them later.

The fault is on me. And I am sorry for that. I, and anyone else, really should think twice before deleting a page with that many edits. At least for larger articles and/or articles with lots of edits we probably should leave links to related articles or at least a redirect, rather than just deleting.
