Intro

Recently, there's an increasing interest within the FlightGear community to also start modeling ground traffic more accurately, such as cars [1] [2] [3] [4], trucks [5] [6], trains [7] and even boats and ships [8] [9].


This page is meant to provide a place to collect resources that may be helpful to improve FlightGear's support for simulating such traffic more properly.

  • Bridge Command - Open source ship simulator - Bridge Command is a free interactive ship simulator programme. Its aim is to be a training tool for navigation, ship handling, and other seamanship skills. Bridge Command released under the General Public Licence v2, and is available for commercial and non-commercial use.
