GitLab is an open source hosting infrastructure provider. It is used to host git version control repositories for a small number of 3rd party FlightGear aircraft, scenery, and other resources. In March 2015, GitLab purchased the Gitorious infrastructure and discontinued its services, providing a migration path from the Gitorious git repositories to new GitLab repositories.
