FlightGear has many aircraft available from 3rd-party hangars, some which are GPL compatible and also included in official distributions while others are independent. Aircraft versions range from requiring a CVS build, to being compatible with version 1.9.0, although some may still need FlightGear 1.0 or older if an archive has not been updated.
