Helipad list (user created)

This page lists heliports that are not included in the official apt.dat file and therefore with FlightGear. You can easily add these heliports to FlightGear by unzipping the $FG_ROOT/Airports/apt.dat.gz file (always make a backup first!). Once it's unpacked, open it with a text editor and add (some of) the lines below to the bottom of the file (note the alphabetical order!). Save your changes and zip the file as .gz. Now refresh your FlightGear airport cache (or run FlightGear with --airport=[ICAO code]).

The model of the building can be downloaded from scenemodels.org or via Terrasync. You can switch on the lights on the building by setting your COM1 frequency to 129.5.
